      • Eng. Khalid Abdullah Al-Hussan
        Eng. Khalid Abdullah Al-HussanChairman of the Board of Directors

        Eng. Khalid Abdullah Alhussan is a Board member and the Chief Executive Officer of Saudi Tadawul Group. He also serves as the Chairman of the Saudi Exchange, the Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa), the Securities Clearing Center Company (Muqassa), Wamid, an applied technology services business and the innovation arm of Saudi Tadawul Group and the Arab Federation of Capital Markets (AFCM). Additionally, Al Hussan is a board member in the World Federation of Exchanges (WFE) and Tadawul Real Estate Company.

        Alhussan has more than 14 years of capital market and financial sector experience and possesses a wide range of expertise from business development and corporate planning to strategy and operations. Preceding his appointment as CEO of the Group, Eng. Khalid was the CEO of The Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul) - now known as the Saudi Exchange - for more than 5 years.

        Throughout his tenure at the Exchange, Khalid has overseen the introduction and implementation of several key development programs, including the Qualified Foreign Investor (QFI) framework, the inclusion of Tadawul in the emerging markets’ indices, the launch of Nomu and the derivative markets, the development of the fixed income market and the record-setting IPO of Saudi Aramco. Notably and most recently, led the transformation into the Saudi Tadawul Group.

        Prior to joining the Exchange, Eng. Khalid worked in the insurance sector, managing areas of business, marketing and strategy.

        Khalid is an engineer and holds an MBA from the University of Colorado, where he is also a certified entrepreneur.

      • Mr. Talal Ahmed Al-Khereiji
        Mr. Talal Ahmed Al-KhereijiVice Chairperson of the Board of Directors

        Mr. Al-Khereiji is the Chief Executive Officer for Wholesale at the Saudi National Bank (SNB). He assumed his title as CEO in April 2021, following his role as Acting CEO of the National Commercial Bank.

        Since joining the Bank in 2003, Mr. Al-Khereiji held several titles, including, Group Head of Treasury, where he led the Assets and Liabilities Management department of Treasury, and served as NCB’s ALCO Secretary. He has also been a board member and risk management committee member at SNB Capital since 2013, in addition to holding memberships in multiple executive committees across SNB Group. 

        Mr. Al-Khereiji has more than 25 years of financial services experience, where he started his career in 1995 at the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA), and spent seven years working in the Investment Department’s “Advisory Group” designing and implementing the organization’s investment policy, under which the foreign exchange reserves were managed. 

        Mr. Al-Khereiji is a graduate of Georgetown University, and holds a Master’s degree in International Business and Bachelor’s in International Economy.

      • Dr. Roland Bellegarde

        Dr. Bellegarde is currently the CEO Advisor at the Saudi Tadawul Group and a Board member of the Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa) and Securities Clearing Center Company (Muqassa). 

        Previously, he was Group Executive Vice-President of the NYSE-Euronext Management Committee for seven years, where he led European Equities and Listings. Over the years, his mandate extended to cover domestic and international listings, equity and index derivatives, index business development, structured products, and market operations. 

        His past roles also included Acting Chairman of SmartPool (Block trading platform), Board Member of LIFFE AM, Qatar Exchange, Clearnet SA, and Interbosla (Portuguese CSD). 

        Dr. Bellegarde has a PhD in Banking and Finance from Université Paris-Sorbonne in France.

      • Mr. Mohammed Suliman Al-Rumaih

        Mr. Al-Rumaih assumed his role as Chief Executive Officer of the Saudi Exchange in April 2021. 

        Prior to this, he was the Chief of Markets for the Exchange where he oversaw Saudi Exchange’s Markets operations, including the Main Market, Nomu-Parallel Market, Sukuk and Bonds and others. 

        Since joining the Saudi Exchange in 2009, Mr. Al-Rumaih has held various leadership positions, including Head of Primary Market and Chief of Sales and Marketing. 

        He has extensive experience in the financial services sector and has led the Exchange through numerous milestones and a period of exponential growth and transformation. He has been instrumental in the Exchange’s adoption of new market enhancements and products to further cement its status as an advanced capital market and regional powerhouse. 

        His notable achievements include Saudi Exchange’s inclusion in emerging market indices, the launch of Saudi Arabia’s first derivatives market, the revamp of the Nomu-Parallel Market, the success of the Saudi Capital Market enhancement program, and facilitating the smooth public listing of Saudi Aramco, the world’s largest IPO, in 2019. 

        Mr. Al-Rumaih holds a Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals, and an MBA from Manchester Business School.

      • Ms. Kim Taylor
        Ms. Kim Taylor

        Prior to retiring from her role at CME Group in 2017, Ms. Taylor held several titles, including President of Clearing and Post-Trade Services, and President of Global Operations, Technology & Risk from September 2014 to November 2016 and President of CME Clearing since 2004 when CME also began clearing all Chicago Board of Trade (CBOT) contracts. She led the clearing house through the challenges of CME’s subsequent acquisitions of CBOT and the New York Mercantile Exchange, as well as leading the industry through the 2008 financial crisis and the MF Global bankruptcy in 2011. 

        She first joined CME in 1989 as a senior analyst, assuming responsibility in 1998 for risk management and earning various promotions in ensuing years. She served on the CME executive management team from 2004 until her retirement. 

        Ms. Taylor also serves on the board of directors for First Midwest Bank, Eventus Systems, and Alma College and previously served on the board for both ISDA and the Illinois Math and Science Academy (IMSA). 

        She is an expert in risk management, crisis management, derivatives regulation, and FCM bankruptcy. In 2014, Crain’s Chicago Business named Ms. Taylor number nine on its list of the top 20 most powerful women in Chicago business.

      • Mrs. Lama Ahmed Ghazzaoui

        Mrs. Lama Ghazzaoui is currently the Chief Financial Officer of the Saudi British Bank and her career spans for more than 24 years in the financial field, and specifically in the banking sector and she has a considerable experience in all aspects of accounting and finance for financial institutions. She is a Board member of Human Rights Commission and AlTamayyuz Academy, as well as a member of the Audit Committee of AlAwwal Invest. She also worked as the Chief Accountant and the Chief Financial Officer of the Saudi National Bank until 2021G. Mrs. Ghazzaoui holds a Bachelor of Science in Accounting from the Lebanese American University in 1996G, and she also obtained a Certified Public Accountant’s license from the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Colorado, United states.

      • Ms. Hannan Alshehri

        Ms. Hanan is the CEO of the Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa). She is a Board member of the Securities Depository Center Company (Edaa) and the Saudi Exchange Company. She has over 13 years of experience in the Investment Sector and product development and has held several roles and leadership positions, most recently as the Chief of Business Development at Edaa.
        She holds a Master's Degree in Applied Mathematics from King Abdullah University of Science and Technology and a Bachelor's Degree in Science of Information Systems from Prince Sultan University.

        In 2023, Ms. Hanan obtained an Executive Leadership Development certification at Stanford Business School. In addition to her role at Edaa, Ms. Hanan is a board member of the Arab Federation of Capital Markets (AFCM) .
         

      • Wael Abdullah Al-Hazzani
        Wael Abdullah Al-HazzaniChief Executive Officer

        Mr. Al-Hazzani is the Chief Executive Officer of Muqassa and has held that position since its establishment in May 2018.

        He also serves as a member of the Board of Directors of the Security Depository Center Company (Edaa) since 2018 and Saudi Exchange since April 2021. Prior to his appointment as the CEO of Muqassa, Mr. Al-Hazzani held a variety of positions such as Head of Clearing and Settlement and was a Risk Planning Manager who was responsible for maintaining risk management processes and policies for Saudi Exchange and designed, developed and recommended a variety of strategies in order to minimize risk exposure. 

        He carries a breadth of knowledge in the capital markets, risk management, clearing and settlement industry. He held many leading positions within the Saudi Stock Exchange (Tadawul), including heading the clearing and settlement function, along with the Post-Trade Transformation Program.

        Mr. Al-Hazzani holds an MBA, a Minor in Finance and a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science from King Saud University, Saudi Arabia.

      • Ahmed J. Al Somali
        Ahmed J. Al SomaliChief of Operations

        Mr. Al Somali joined" Muqassa"in January 2022, as Head of Cash & Fixed Income Operations. In April 2023, Mr. Al Somali was appointed as Chief of Operations at "Muqassa".


        Mr. Ahmed  has over 20 years of  broad experience in operations in the financial and banking sector, holding multiple leadership roles in different financial institutional companies.


        Mr. Ahmed Al Somali holds a bachelor’s degree in public administration from King Abdulaziz University. In addition, Mr. Al Somali holds an executive leadership program certificate from INSEAD.

      • Meshal M. Al Homaid
        Meshal M. Al HomaidChief of Risk Management

        Mr. Meshal joined Muqassa in September 2021 as Head of Risk Modelling and Methodology. In September 2023, Mr. Al Homaid was appointed as Chief of Risk Management Muqassa.


        Mr. Meshal has over 17 years of extensive experience in Risk Management in the Financial Sector in a number of leading banks in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Mr. Al Homaid’s experience include holding roles in Credit Control and Monitoring, Risk Reporting, Enterprise Risk Management and Risk Modelling.


        Mr. Al Homaid holds a Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems from King Saud University and a Master’s Degree in Information Systems Management from The University of Sheffield.
         

      • Mansour Altais
        Mansour AltaisChief of Business development

        Mansour Altais is the Chief of Business Development at the Securities Clearing Center company “Muqassa”, a subsidiary of Saudi Tadawul Group.

        Mansour joined Muqassa in 2020 as the Business Services & Sales Manager, where he established the company’s Account Management & Sales teams, and was a main contributor to the implementation of clearing services in different markets, including equities, fixed income, exchange-traded derivatives, and Repo markets.

        Mansour was also part of the Post Trade Program, with a main focus to raise awareness on the value of the Clearing House’s products and services in the Saudi Financial market.

        Prior to joining Muqassa, he gained an extensive experience in the global banking industry in his role as Senior Relationship Manager, with client coverage of banking sector and later leading the growth of non-banking FIs sector.

        Mansour holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration from Cape Breton University, Canada, along with several professional certifications from prestigious institutions specialized in Management and Leadership.
