Organizations obtain access to Muqassa’s clearing markets by entering into a membership agreement for clearing. 

Membership requirements

To be eligible for membership at Muqassa, firms must meet certain net capital and other requirements.

How To Submit Your Application

  • Submit a complete membership application form.
  • Submit an electronic copy of the Commercial Registration issued by Ministry of Commerce and Investment.
  • Submit a copy of the license issued by the CMA (for Authorized Personal) or SAMA (for Banks).
  • Submit capital depository certificate and supporting legal documentation.
  • Provide details on the firm’s board of directors.

Approval Process

Muqassa reviews the request and may ask for more details. Following a satisfactory preliminary review, Muqassa will grant “Approval in Principle”. 

Once the approval in principle is granted, Muqassa will conduct more in-depth checks including infrastructure tests to ensure system compatibility and confirmation of all documentation required. If approved, Muqassa will grant formal admission as a Muqassa member and work with them to finalize infrastructure requirements and establish operations in preparation for business.

Membership Fees

Initial Membership SAR 60,000 payable once.
Annual Membership SAR 30,000 payable annually for continuing clearing membership.
